About Kelruno

Kelruno is an independent verification and control layer for AI coding workflows.

What Kelruno is

Kelruno adds an independent layer between a coding agent’s output and the decisions that matter. It separates the agent that builds a change from the agent that gives it the final review, keeps merges and production changes behind Human Gates, and records execution evidence - exit codes, digests, counts, gate outcomes - bound to the exact commit, rather than trusting the model’s own account of what it did.

“Control” in Kelruno means policy, routing, authority boundaries, and Human Gates. It does not mean autonomous production changes.

Why independent verification matters

AI coding agents can now write, test, and summarize their own work in one pass. That is exactly why the summary cannot be the verdict. A model that reviews its own change shares every assumption that produced it; a shared blind spot cannot notice itself.

Kelruno’s answer is structural. The final independent Reviewer is a separate role, uses a different provider/model family where policy requires it, reviews an exact SHA it did not build, and has no authority to remediate. The Verifier that runs the change’s own checks holds no credentials and reports exit metadata only. Where a required condition cannot be proven - including an unexplained mismatch between what was requested and what actually ran - the run is blocked. Refuse rather than degrade.

The role of Human Gates

Merge, production deployment, and physical or network device changes are Human Gates: approvals only a person can give, recorded outside model authority. Automation gathers evidence and proceeds up to the gate. It does not pass through it.

Current status

Kelruno is pre-release. It is not generally available, there is no public self-service signup, and there is no published pricing. A gated, invite-only Founder Beta is planned. This site describes the principles and the capabilities that exist today, and nothing more.

Founder

Kelruno is founded by Eliran Godov.
